These Terms govern your use of QR & Barcode Scanner (the "App"), developed by abdDev. By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.
License and acceptable use
abdDev grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control. You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, and not to use it to create, scan, or distribute codes that are unlawful, infringing, or intended to deceive or harm others.
Camera, permissions, and your content
The App uses your camera to scan codes and may request photo gallery access to save codes you create — both used solely to provide that functionality. Anything you scan or create with the App remains yours; as explained in our Privacy Policy, it's stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
Third-party services
The App uses Google ML Kit for on-device code recognition and relies on Google Play Services to run. Neither sends your camera data or scan content anywhere as part of this. These components are covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, abdDev is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; we may also discontinue it at any time.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, unless mandatory consumer protection laws where you live say otherwise. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the new Terms.
